How I Plan On Quitting Smoking Using Electronic Cigarettes

I made this blog because I want to prove once and for all that i can quit smoking just using electronic cigarettes and nothing else. I Have been a Pack-A-Day Smoker for 6 years. I’ve Tried Quitting So Many times, Nothing Works.

Ways Ive Tried to Quit Smoking Before:

  • Cold Turkey
  • Nicorette
  • Nicotine Patches
  • Nicotine Inhalers

So Here’s My Plan!

I Just Bought the Best E Cigarette on the market. I Will Start With smoking High content Nicotine Liquid, all the way down to zero content nicotine liquid. Over A Long Period of time, So there is no shock to my body, and there are no cravings.

My Schedule:

MONTH 1: High Content Nicotine Liquid.

MONTH 2: Medium Content Nicotine Liquid

MONTH 3: Low Content Nicotine Liquid

MONTH 4: No Content Nicotine Liquid ( just so im still getting the action of smoking )

And then Voila! Hopefully I just wont need the electronic cigarettes or any form of nicotine again and i can go on to live a healthier life.

Day 1 – Got My Electronic Cigarette in the mail.

I got the ego-t today and i think i can quit smoking with it it makes more vapor than any other electronic cigarette ive tried.

So here goes Day 1.. Usually i have a cigarette after supper, so i tried the electronic cigarette instead.

Honestly I don’t even want a real cigarette at the moment, It seems to do the trick.

Well im off, tomorrow will be the real test.
I’m going to bring a pack of real cigarettes, and the electronic cigarette to work. We’ll see if i give in.
Usually i have 3-4 cigarettes on the way to work. and 2 cigarettes every break.
then 3-4 on the way home. if i can even cut that in half im doing good. but well see what happens tomorrow.

Day 2 – The Hardest Day Of Quitting

Today I went to work and did not have one cigarette, whenever i got a craving i just used the electric cigarette.

I didnt get angry from not having a cigarette until about 3pm because we skip last break at work so thats going from 12:30 till 3 without a cigarette which i dont like.
But I Got off work at 3:15, Used my e cigarette and the anger was gone.

Day 3 – An Easy Day Trying To Quit

Today Was a Friday and My Boss had a meeting so didn’t have to start work till 10am,

Easy 5 hour day. The Day Just flew by, and i still don’t even want to consider a normal cigarette because this electric cigarette is working well for me and i can start to smell smoke when other people are smoking around me.

Day 4 – Today was a Bit Rough

Last Night i decided to go out for drink to put this thing to the test, because we all know smoking and drinking goes together like peanut butter and jelly.

I actually kindof thought about having a real cigarette last night, but then i thought why bother, this works just the same.

Earlier today i was Trying to fix my dirtbike, and They sent me the wrong parts. and then i noticed theres a bunch of stuff missing from my rear brake, so i basically wasted a whole day trying to half fix my bike and got really angry. i was so close to having a cigarette they were right in front of me. but i didnt because i’m trying to quit. i just puffed on the e cigarette for a while and i was fine.

Day 5 – I’m Ashamed

Last Night i went to the bar, and everyone i was with was smoking. I gave in and had 4 in about 2 hours. Well no bodies perfect, So I’ve been back to using my electronic cigarette all day again today. Hopefully i don’t go to a bar next weekend.

Day 6 & Day 7 – I Lowered the amount of nicotine

I On day 5 i ran out of the high nicotine content cartridges, I’ve been refilling them for the last 3 days… Not knowing that ive been refilling them with medium nicotine content cartridges.

I’ve noticed during work this monday and tuesday, things have been getting on my nerves more than usual, So now i know the reason nicotine withdrawl, Apperently medium content isnt enough to satisfy my system.

But it is enough to satisfy me, i still havent been craving real cigarettes. I’m going to try to stick to  the medium content and skip 1 month worth of quitting… maybe i can try and lower the amount of nicotine once every week. we’ll see what happens, i might go back to high content nicotine if my boss gets on my nerves to much. We’ll see.

Day 8 & 9 – Still Going Strong

I am now completely used to the medium content nicotine liquid,  i have not got the withdrawl anger that most smokers seem to get when quitting. I’m going to try switching to low content nicotine liquid this monday. I’ll Probably just end up switching back to medium. Still havent had any cigarettes

Day 10, 11 and 12

15 Aug

Once again this weekend smoked cigarettes, but it wasnt till the very end of the night, friday and saturday nights, all of my friends smoke, So atleast once every 15 minutes at any given time during the night someone is smoking, so i guess it gets to you after a while.

I noticed a few things when i had those REAL cigarettes though…

#1. They didn’t give me a head rush like when you havent had a cigarette for a full day. So I guess i’m getting my nicotine fix just fine.

#2. They tasted like poison similar to how Windex smells or something along the lines of that.

#3. The next day i had an incredibly dry mouth. (Which has went away since i switched to electronic cigarettes)

#4. The Whole time i was smoking them, I thought in my head saying whats the point in even smoking these, Your just ruining your record for smoking. But it was the weekend so i didn’t care.
